1. The service

Gebeya Intel is a searchable directory of businesses registered in Ethiopia, built from public business registration and trade licence records. Searching and reading a business's public summary is free for members. Contact details and full licence information are opened ("unlocked") with credits.

2. Your account

• One person per account. Give a real name and an email address you can receive mail at.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• We may pause, suspend or close accounts that break these terms, including while we look into unusual activity.

3. Credits and payments

• Credits are bought in packages. You pay to one of the accounts shown on the site and send us the reference number or a receipt; credits are added after we confirm the payment.
• Credits never expire. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.
• Unlocking a business uses the credits shown before you unlock. Once unlocked, that business stays open for your account.
• If you paid and your credits were not added, or something went wrong with a payment, contact us with your order number and we will look into it.

4. Fair use: what is not allowed

• Copying the directory in bulk, by hand or with software (scrapers, bots, scripts, browser automation).
• Reselling, publishing or sharing contact details or other data from the site.
• Sharing your account, or using several accounts to get around limits.
• Using contact details for spam, harassment or anything unlawful.

The site uses automatic checks to protect the directory, such as limits, security checks and captchas. Accounts that look automated may be asked to confirm they are a person, or paused for review.

5. About the information

The information comes from public registration records and may be incomplete or out of date: businesses move, change numbers or close. We show it as it is and cannot promise it is correct. Check important details before relying on them.

6. Responsibility

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but it is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the information or from the site being unavailable.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for how you use the site, we will tell you by email or on the site.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
